I like how it feels. Yes you have a white mask but it does blend in after a few minutes and it doesn't dry my skin so that is a plus. I have tried other sun protection products and sonrei definitely feels good.

I have sensitive dry/dehydrated skin, and this spf is perfect! Despite having a light milky consistency this spf is very hydrating and moisturizing for me.
Super easy to reapply, amazing spreadability and no pilling. Cast-wise this is incredibly sheer. maybeee in certain lighting i can see a faint white glow otherwise I don't notice anything at all. Overall I love this product for the face and body and definitely want to try the tinted version next.
Once you rub it in good, it doesnt leave a white cast so that was good! As someone with oily skin , this didnt leave me more oily , in fact it did the opposite. It left my face realllyyy dryyyy and dehydrated . Even with moisturizer my skin felt soo dry to the touch and i did experience a few breakouts. I had to discontinue use…which is disappointing
I really like this sunscreen -- I've been using it daily since I received it and it is very effective on my skin. I wanted something very protective since my skin is already sun-damaged from decades of not doing enough to minimize the effects of exposure to the sun. I am outside quite a bit, and very happy to have this.
It is easy to apply and goes on smoothly. If I don't use too much, it absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue. I find it better to apply a tiny amount several times over a period of hours instead of trying to spread it on too thickly (and on my dry skin, a rather small amount can equate to too much). It took a bit of trial and error to get it right. It does feel very light and although it looks like a cream rather than a gel, and it looks white at first, it does become clear. My skin is very sensitive and I have experienced no irritation using this. At the current cost of $40.00 for 3.4 ounces, this is quite pricey, but I don't seem to need to use very much to get adequate protection and I like the way my skin looks and feels when I get the amount just right-- almost like nothing is there.

I've slowly switched from chemical sunscreens to mineral sunscreens, which I just feel safer using. I've used Sonrei's "Sea Clearly" gel sunscreen before and really liked that one because it is a clear gel, very unique. I'm not sure why they changed it up and now it isn't a clear gel anymore - that said, this is still a great sunscreen. It honestly doesn't matter what consistency or color it is as long as it does a great job protecting me from harmful sun rays. This didn't feel sticky and did not leave a white cast on my skin. With all mineral sunscreens I recommend going slow and using a little first, then adding more as needed - that way you're not having to work as hard trying to spread the sunscreen. I recommend giving Sonrei a try, good mineral sunscreen.
At a bit over $10 per ounce, this is a pretty expensive sunscreen but lately, it seems that there are a plethora of "premium" sunscreens. These "premium" sunscreens all seem pretty good including this one.
I found this to be a good facial sunscreen and at SPF 60, it kept my face and arms from burning when out biking on sunny summer days. It seemed to hold up pretty well when I'd sweat but I never used it while in a pool, swimming in the ocean or anywhere else. I can't comment on how waterproof it is or isn't. When applied, it felt a bit more oily than some other sunscreens and especially on my forearms, it left my skin with a sheen. There was no white cast but it left my skin shiny. It was similar on my face. Just a little bit goes a long way and if I squeezed out too much and applied it, it left my face looking a bit shiny. When you use this, just use a little tiny bit and apply more if needed. It felt like it helped to moisturize my face and it has what I would call a bit of a cardboard scent to it which seems to be typical of some of these newer sunscreens.
When it comes to sunscreens, my main concern is not 'how good' a particular product is for my skin because they all tend to be not entirely good but, on balance, does the benefit that comes from sun protection far outweighs whatever issues the ingredients in the sunscreen may produce.
In this particular case, interaction with skin appears to be relatively mild and the sun protection benefit is quite noticeable in that I did not suffer sunburns while wearing it and I am in Florida aka 'the sunshine state'. So it's a good product, definitely superior to the cheap alternatives you would typically see in grocery stores but, unsurprisingly, it's not cheap because that's how things tend to be in life. So it's a good product to have unless you prefer a spray delivery system which I do and if you can afford it.
This is quite a thick sunscreen. It says gel but it's actually a lotion. I found it quite hard to smooth in on my face. It's fine for no makeup days but not ideal when you want to wear a cc cream or makeup on top. I've been wearing it on my neck and décolletage where and found that to be perfect. It does dry well but feels a little gloopy when you're applying it. Good sun protection. I've been spending hours gardening and it has stopped me burning and I haven't had a problem with reapplying it. It does feel moisturizing and left my skin feeling soft.
Overall thoughts is that it's great for neck, chest and body but not one that I'll be using on my face routinely. No adverse reactions and I do have sensitive skin.
this sunscreen is nice because they use non-nano particles in their sunscreen and the active spf ingredients are reef safe. it’s fine for body use if you’re going for a hike or the beach but the texture isn’t right for my face and i can tell it’ll break me out or cause irritation. i don’t mind using two different sunscreens since my face is more on the sensitive side. it leaves a dewy finish but if you’re looking for a matte one, this isn’t for you. it does the job and stays on so i like it. not sure if i’d get it again but i’ll use the whole bottle for sure.

I have some other mineral sunscreens that leave a white cast. Not this one. This one spreads super easily. Initially it looks like it is going to be a dewy/shiny finish. After a few minutes, it absorbs fully into the skin leaving no trace of sunscreen. It leaves no streaks, white cast, or sunscreen smell behind. It contains non-nano zinc so it is truly reef safe.

I've always had a troubled skin and alot of scars so I don't usually use any product, as I can easily breakout and develop scars and plus having a very oily skin doesn't help either.
