I loved that the product is clear and the texture is light and it looks natural on the skin while also protecting you from the sun however I didn't like that it's a little oily instead of being more like a cream texture but other than that I liked the product and I will recommend it to my friends
I have loved using this sunscreen! It is truly the only sunscreen I’ve used that doesn’t burn on reapplication. Only issue I’ve had is slight separation of ingredients (the oils)
Both my husband and I love the texture of Sonrei sunscreen. It is exactly what my skin needs after my face is washed in the morning. I just wonder how I often I need to reapply it to my face! My face needs great protection. I would love to have a small tube to carry with me on the bike!

after trying 10+ sunscreens for my face over the past year (no i am not being dramatic my skin is incredibly sensitive) this is the first one that doesn’t irritate my eczema or break me out. my only con that i’m pretty bummed about is that the texture is almost like a petroleum jelly and i noticed it started clogging my pores mainly on my forehead. it does sting a little bit around the eye but it only starts later in the day for me. i love the moisture it provides and the clean ingredients it has. i just wish the texture was ever so slightly lighter weight and it would be perfect 😩

As a former esthetician, what I put on my skin is extremely important to me. While I love the summer, I absolutely have always hated having to put sunscreen on my face because it always makes me break out and/or dries out my skin. This product did neither. It was so light and, I love that it is clear and not the white goop that is the consistency of all other brands. This is absolute perfection and, after using it 3 times, I am a lifetime buyer! If you care about your skin, you use Sonrei!
Just tried this new sunscreen on my kids and it worked perfectly! They were outside swimming for 3 hours, I didn’t reapply, and they didn’t get sunburned at all. Amazing stuff-I’ll use it forever!
Advertising this as a "gel" is just incorrect. This is thick balm in a squeeze tube. The product goes on VERY heavy and greasy and not even close to "cosmetically elegant" as the reviews would suggest. I have normal skin with oil production and this just feels suffocating to wear. I'm past the point of returning on my tube otherwise I'd send it back but I tried making it work a few times and it just feels awful on my face. I feel pretty mislead and really wish that the marketing for this was more upfront. Kiehls used to sell a balm with a high SPF that was intended for sport usage that this feels really similar to, but is better formulated for reef safety. This is really water resistant and could be used for surfing/snowboarding but outside of that I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a daily sunblock.
I have never tried a sunscreen like this before and I am really impressed. As avid hikers, we are always wearing sunscreen. Personally I do not like white sunscreens. They are really hard to rub in and typically leave me looking like a ghost. I never knew sunscreens came in gels. This particular product is great. The gel was a bit tough to get out at first however it felt smooth to apply and did not run at all when I was hiking. Considering the amount I sweat, I was impressed. The best part is it is clear and after a minute I barely knew it was there. Great product!
